Marriage Licenses at A Legendary Affair

Save Time and Energy! Marriage License Express will be at A LEGENDARY AFFAIR on select Saturdays each month to issue your Marriage License! (License is valid for 90 days).
Those who are getting married in LA County have a choice of obtaining a marriage license at a select few County Registrar Recorder/County Clerk offices or using Marriage License Express.
To prepare you will need:
Drivers License
Birth Certificate
If previously married within the past 2 years; final papers
Blood test is not required in California
State or Country (if out of the US) where parents were born
Spelling of mothers maiden name
License may be obtained up to 90 days prior to the wedding
Using Marriage License Express, it takes about 20 minutes to do all of the necessary paperwork. There is no waiting for your license, you receive it on the spot. On your wedding day, your clergy signs the license and sends it in to the County Clerk. After it is recorded, a certified copy is sent to you.

Brides, grooms, moms and/or anyone navigating the wedding planning journey are invited to a confidential sacred space to share your anxiety, fears, frustrations and joy while you travel the sometimes bumpy road of planning a wedding day. You may choose to attend at any stage of your planning process and anytime you wish. Group size is between 8-20 people. Feel free to contact m@marydann.com with questions.
